Stephen W. Bisher, CPA
PRINCIPAL
With over 30 years of experience, Steve leads the firm’s Audit & Accounting practice. His areas of expertise include controllership, audit and financial reporting, business advisory services, trust and estate planning, and peer review. He has worked extensively across industries including community foundations, closely held companies, agribusiness, construction, nonprofits, and healthcare.
Steve is a member of both the AICPA and the MICPA and maintains over 40 hours of continuing education annually. He has previously served as Treasurer for the Hillsdale Kiwanis, Alpha Omega Women’s Care Center, and Hillsdale CASA.

Jason M. Wade, CPA
PRINCIPAL
He provides consulting, software transitions, controllership services, annual audits, and 990 preparation. His deep expertise extends to the development and implementation of specialized fund accounting software. Jason previously served on the Hillsdale Community Foundation board for nine years, including two as Chair, and the Hospice of Hillsdale County. He currently serves as treasurer of First Baptist Church of North Adams, where he is also a member.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Hillsdale College and an MBA from Spring Arbor University. Jason is the Principal-in-charge of Business Consulting for the firm.

Laura R. Nevins, EA
MANAGER
Laura has deep experience in payroll, business advisory, compilations, and reviews across a range of industries. She assists in preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, and serves as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, helping clients navigate complex software challenges.
Laura maintains a minimum of 40 hours of continuing education each year and is actively involved in her community. She serves as Treasurer for the Grosvenor House Museum and Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness (CAPA) of Hillsdale County and also serves on the Hillsdale County Community Foundation board.

Jacob J. Hodgson
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Jacob’s work spans payroll, business advisory, compilations, audits, and tax return preparation for individuals and businesses. He is proficient in QuickBooks and multiple payroll platforms and supports clients with reliable bookkeeping and payroll services.
Originally from Hillsdale, Jacob is glad to be working in his home community again. He is a member of Northview Christian Church and is currently applying for membership with the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

John W. Robinson
STAFF ACCOUNTANT
As he develops his expertise, John enjoys the opportunity to work beyond tax preparation and explore the full scope of accounting services offered by the firm. His attention to detail and curiosity serve him well as he grows in the profession.

Amber Keck
OFFICE MANAGER
